The whole job, start to finish. The steps below say the same thing in words.
What's in the box
- Your steel art
- The wood board, hangers already fitted
- 4 magnets, each with its thumb screw
- Wall mount parts
Important: No holes in the art. The magnets hold it.
Step 1 / 4
Check the hanger
- Turn the board over. There are two hangers on the back: one for landscape, one for portrait.
- The hanger that matches your art must sit at the top, centered.
- Wrong one at the top? Rotate the whole board.
Important: Leave the hangers where they are. Rotate the board, not the hanger.
Step 2 / 4
Screw on the magnets
- Push a thumb screw through a corner hole from the back of the board.
- Turn a magnet onto it from the front, clockwise, until snug.
- Repeat at the other three corners.
Important: Snug is enough. There is no need to overtighten.
Step 3 / 4
Snap on the steel art
- Hold the art the right way up, matching the hanger at the top of the board.
- Line up the corners of the art with the four magnets.
- Bring it in. It snaps on instantly.
Step 4 / 4
Hang it
- Fix the wall screw where you want the piece. For drywall, brick or concrete, drill and push in the wall plug first.
- Hang the board by its top hanger.
- Straighten it with a level.
Important: Lift the piece by the board, never by the art.
End result
The art floats just off the board, held at the four corners. To take it off, lift one corner near a magnet.
