Do I approve the drawing before you cut?
Yes. An artist hand-draws your photo in 1-3 days and sends a mock-up. Unlimited revisions, and nothing is cut until you approve it.
How many people fit in one portrait?
It depends on size: 1-2 at 8x10, up to 4 at 12x16, up to 8 at 16x20, up to 10 at 18x24. More figures need more room to stay recognizable.
What if I change my mind?
Before you approve the drawing you can cancel at any point for a full refund, and there is no fee. Revisions are unlimited and free, so most people refine the drawing rather than cancel. After delivery, an unused piece can be returned within 60 days for a full refund, and returns are free.

Wonderful 11 year anniversary gift. It was from the night we fell in love and truly knew we were meant to be.
The final product isn’t even our picture. They just sent us something random.
Improve the sawtooth hanger. It pulled out of the frame within the first 24 hours. The frame got damaged. It damaged my wall and it damages my new vinyl floor So I don’t like it.

As far as the art work goes I couldn't be much happier. My only problem was within 20 minutes of me hanging my picture the screws ripped out of the frame and the picture fell. There also was a mount on the frame for it to be hung horizontally or vertically. For as much money as we spend on these I thought they shouldn't have mounts to be hung either way. After all our pictures were made to only be held one way. I will say customer service was quick to send a new frame. We'll see if it's going to be any better still though. Clifford Howard

What is a laser cut steel portrait, and how is it different from a metal print?
It is a physical artwork, not a print. An artist hand draws your photograph as solid shapes and open space, and that drawing is laser cut from 16 gauge steel, about 1/16 in thick, and powder coated silver. Four magnets hold the steel off the walnut or black frame, so it floats, casts real shadows and changes as the light moves through the day. A metal print is different: the artist's drawing printed in full color on an aluminum panel. We make both, and this is the cut one.
Can you combine several photos?
Yes. Turn on "Combine multiple photos" and upload them together. We merge the people into one composition.
How does it hang?
One screw. The screw and magnetic spacers are in the box, and the spacers create the floating 3D look.
